I just finished reading your book. I learned a lot from it. So many insights, so many interesting references.

Far what it is worth: I thought the quality of the writing was simply stupendous. I like to think of myself as well-read (for a non-academic) and I will say: I have never enjoyed such quality prose in a non-fiction work – and probably rarely, if ever, in a work of fiction. The choice of words, the rich vocabulary, the cadence, the subtle (sometimes less subtle) humor: it was a joy going through the sentences. I hope the book will reach a broad audience.
