Significant activity detected in Ariel Sharon’s brain

Soroka Medical Center reports that the former prime minister’s brain responded to pictures and voice of his family, as measured by an fMRI scan, adds it confirms their diagnosis that the former PM is in ‘state of minimal consciousness’ rather than coma.

Neurological scans of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who has been in a vegetative state since 2007, have demonstrated significant brain activity, officials at the Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva said on Sunday.
