Barack Obama abandons US to fool around with Sir Richard Branson on private island
BARACK OBAMA has been pictured fooling around with billionaire tycoon Sir Richard Branson on a private island, leaving the US in gridlock over Donald Trump’s string of controversial executive orders.
Sir Richard posted videos and photographs of the pair kitesurfing and frolicking in the water, with the former US President making the most of his newfound free time on their holiday together.
The duo made the most of the waves as they relaxed on Mosquito Island in the British Virgin Islands – an island which the Virgin Group founder bought for £10million in 2007.
The entrepreneur said it was an honour to have Mr Obama and Michelle Obama on the island in a statement on Virgin’s website.
The former Democrat President provoke ire from many in Britain in when he suggested, prior to last June’s referendum, that the UK would be at ‘the back of the queue’ when trying to sign a trade deal with the US if it left the EU.
