In Letters To Finkelstein

Hello Norman from Norman,

I’ve been a reader and follower of yours for a long time. I even had the chance to hear you speak at a symposium on the Palestine issue a number of years ago at U.C. Irvine. A memorable experience to be sure. Presently I’ve much enjoyed the hours and hours of your insight, scholarship, stories, and humor during interview visits to various internet programs! “This is Revolution” (a real favorite!), Briahna Joy Gray’s show, and “TrueAnon”, among others. Frankly, I find there to be less censorship on Black programs. Yes, Cancel Culture needs to be exposed and you did a good job of it in great detail!

Thoroughly enjoyed your new book “I’ll Burn That Bridge When I Get to It!” Wow! I even think that many will read it in secret too. The exposes by name of the $217. dollar an hour pseudo-religious huckster darlings of Silicone Valley, international corporate culture, the NY Times, The Guardian, etc. are all spot on and well deserved. Interestingly, both parents of Ibram X. Kendi work as Methodist ministers. In addition, the structure of the book was compelling as well, it was different, fresh, and free! The dedicated work of someone who had written many notable books.

Also insightful was the U.S. history I never learned with the conscientiously researched chapters which included your footnotes-of-legend as an added bonus! The chapters of early true Black writers like Frederick Douglass, W.E.B. Du Bois, and Paul Robeson, sure filled a hole in my U.S. history education. Truth frightens power and is all too often cancelled or purposely omitted for obvious reasons.

Having purchased two copies with the intention to share, I  passed your book on to a brilliant AP English teacher/ socialist friend of mine at Marshall public HS in Los Angeles. She wasn’t fully aware of many of the things you’ve stated, having been subjected to the full Democratic Party/BLMGF Inc./ Covid “Cultural Revolution” treatment, courtesy of the school administration and many of her other low-hanging-fruit teacher cohorts who are lock, stock, and barrel Hillary-Obama-Biden and even Chuck Taylor sneaker-wearing Kamala Harris supporters. It turned a public education into a weaponized situation and many students and teachers were the victims.

I figured out Obama right away and got so much flack for calling him out. You filled in every blank on that neoliberal corporate puppet. As per other corporate puppets, living in California near their “lair,” I mean the headquarters of “BLMGF Inc.” I realized why three women, two self described as queer, in practice actually self -serving pseudo-Marxists, were chosen to compromise the “BLM Grassroots” movement and the spontaneous BLM demonstrations on the streets. It was done all for the benefit of corporate America and the Democratic party; the historical party of real Black exploitation. They are among the biggest historical racists in America and don’t even realize it.

Those particular women and their “BLMGF Inc.” non-profit were purposely chosen to run and ruin the community BLM idea in part because their concept and orientation would exclude two of the traditional foundations of Black community culture in America; namely The Christian Church (often Baptist) and  the Nation of Islam, the Black self-determination religion and concept. No strong males or other-oriented heterosexuals were included to share in the running of “BLMGF Inc.” No other values, beliefs, or attitudes were allowed either. Martin Luther King Jr. was relegated to the past. All in the name of “diversity.”

In propaganda pop culture this “foundation” concept was even pre-staged for mass public consumption in the film “Black Panther.” (Incidentally, from a description of the graphic novel series “Black Panther” which pre-dated the film and served as part of the Marvel canon the screenwriters researched: ” A new era for the Black Panther starts here! Written by MacArthur Genius and National Book Award winner TA-NEHISI COATES”)  A genius, mama mia! I guess if you can write for The Atlantic, with former Israeli Defense Forces prison guard Jeffrey Goldberg serving as Editor-in-Chief, that’s a good foundation for writing comic books!  As stated by Cornel West in The Guardian, “Ta-Nehisi Coates is the neoliberal face of the Black freedom struggle.”

The film credits acknowledged Mr. Coates, with a “Special Thanks” (IMDb) and he acknowledged the film at his “Black Panther Cast Talk” (Rolling Stone), as “an incredible achievement. I didn’t realize how much I needed the film, a hunger for a myth that [addressed] feeling separated and feeling reconnected.” Really? In the film one hero is a White CIA agent- on the face of it preposterous- at the end when they are back on planet Earth in the ‘hood the question is asked, essentially, “How will we fix this?” the answer predictably is, “With a foundation!”

The Black Trauma Inc. “charitable foundation, 501(c)(3) non-profit” is a cash-cow that often does nothing but subvert a true Black movement, while enriching its self-appointed leaders, and selling social credits to major corporations and individuals in the form of tax-deductible charitable donations! Packaged all wrapped up with a bow it’s non-profit “BLMGF, Inc.” How’s that for “anti-capitalism!” Yet another neoliberal trick to manipulate the public.

Hope I didn’t ramble too much. I wish you well and hope your book influences many people! Keep going as  you are a light in the darkness. I enjoy your blog postings too!

Regards,

   Norman T.

The missing gun, that’s who’s watching his back…can you guess? One of the biggest most powerful and influential lobby groups in the U.S.A. and Washington with the power to vette a president! A nuanced view. The gun that’s missing is among Trump’s greatest support group and most people aren’t even aware of it! They use the American MAGA crowd as proxies to hide behind.

Very effective camouflage and anti-democratic process subterfuge as always from AIPAC. As the song goes, “It Ain’t Me Babe.”- Bob Dylan”
