“So a few months ago Maddy Madderson III painted a moving portrait of professor and dogged pursuer of justice Norman Finkelstein. He adored the piece. Our friends Steve Delaney and Mami graciously delivered Maddy’s artwork to Norm . It now hangs centrally on his living room wall. Recently, during our trip to New York, we caught up with Norm for a sunset stroll, along the Coney Island boardwalk, replete with lawyer jokes, grim reflections ( “my life is a series of lost causes”), political banter, grape lollipops and oddish charm. Quite the day. Thanks Norm!”
