On April 18th there was a march in Prague organized by The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), a Christian Zionist organisation.

The official purpose of the march was to condemn anti-Semitism under a banner saying "WE ARE ALL PEOPLE". But the people were marching under Israeli flags and with stickers on their clothes saying: "ISRAEL YOU ARE NOT ALONE". So practically saying, if you are against anti-Semitism you have to support Israel. We got together with the activists against the Israeli occupation of Palestine and made transparents saying: "TO BE AGAINST OCCUPATION IS NOT ANTI-SEMITIC
TOGETHER AGAINST ANTI-SEMITISM AND OCCUPATION"
"PALESTINIANS ARE ALSO PEOPLE"
"PEACE PROCESS ACCORDING TO ISRAEL: APARTHEID, ETHNIC CLEANSING, HOUSE DEMOLITIONS, POLITICAL PRISONERS, COLONIZATION, MURDER, WAR CRIMES"
And we were holding up pictures with images of the occupation.
First the Zionist organizors asked the police to have us march 50m behid the official march, but we told them they had
no right to tell us this, because we did not come to disturb the march, but to support it. And also express our opinion in a democratic state. The policeman had to accept it, but the Zionist was furious.
We were maybe 30 to 40, but we all had Palestinian flags. The whole march had 300 to 400 people.
As a member of Friends of Palestine I was cited by the Czech biggest news agency ČTK. That way all the mainstream newspapers which informed about the march also cited our opinion. After the visit of Dr. Norman Finkelstein it was a second time when the name Friends of Palestine was in the mainstream. Slowly but surely our voice is beeing noticed. We are beeing seen and our message heard. Finally there is a voice of the other side here.
Here is a short video from the march.

Now we are cooperating with few individuals including the Czech ISM activist Eva Novaková who was expelled from Ramallah by the Israeli authorities, so much for the Palestinian autonomy. We are preparing an exhibition of 30 descriptive images of life under the Israeli occupation and war crimes. The first round of the exhibition will take place in a huge shopping center in Prague where we can reach around 280 000 people. The pictures will be there for a week or two. We will also show B’tselem short films with testimonies of the Palestinian people and the documentary film Occupation 101 for which we made Czech subtitles. We will also pick parts of Dr. Finkelstein’s talks which he gave in Prague this February and show them. We will have speakers and more.

We are also joining Gaza students campaign BOOK BREAKING THE SIEGE. Im just gathering information on the campaign. I will inform Dr. Finkelstein when I know more so everybody who wants to support this great campaign can. The idea is to gather as many books in Arabic and English we can, organize a convoy and break through to Gaza with the books.
