NEW YORK Iara Lee film retrospective 2019 April 28 – May 3

April 29, 2019

In Blog Events News

Exciting news: from April 28 to May 3, there will be a retrospective of my films in New York City! The retrospective will span more than two decades of my work, from 1995’s Synthetic Pleasures to last year’s Burkinabè Rising.

I will be personally attending all of the screenings and would be delighted to meet with anyone in NYC or passing through the city. I would be so grateful if you could notify your friends in the area too!

Also, If you or your organization is interested in showing some of our films as part of a retrospective, please contact our team at info@culturesofresistancefilms.com. Due to time constraints, the NYC series includes only a partial selection of our films, but we’d be excited to work with you to curate your choice from our full list of films, including a few that are currently in post-production.

with ♥ ♥ ♥ + ✊🏿✊🏻✊🏽, we persevere!
