Finkelstein comments:  I received this link and email from my old friend and comrade Gavin Everall.    The classic and still authoritative study of the Nazi holocaust is Raul Hilberg’s 3-volume  THE DESTRUCTION OF THE EUROPEAN JEWS.   The Mufti of Jerusalem’s role in the extermination is mentioned in all of one sentence: “on May 13, 1943, the exiled Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin el Husseini, who had thrown in his lot with the Axis, wrote to the Foreign Office that 4,000 Jewish children accompanied by 500 adults had recently reached Palestine, and for that reason reason he asked the German foreign Minister ‘to do his utmost’ (das Ausserste zu tun) to prevent further departures from Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary” (p. 846).   When I once asked Hilberg whether the Mufti influenced Hitler, he scoffed at the notion that Hitler would pay heed to the advice of an Arab, calling it “unlikely.”

So does this make Netanyahu an anti-semitic holocaust denier, under at least point 5 of the Working definition of Holocaust Denial and Distortion:
5. Attempts to blur the responsibility for the establishment of concentration and death camps devised and operated by Nazi Germany by putting blame on other nations or ethnic groups.
With all good wishes, in again very bad times.
