Warm greetings from Palestine, hope this message finds all you well and in good health and sorry for the delay in responding because I’m was busy outside the office in the concerts tour in Jordan and Jakarta and also with my brother’s wedding last two weeks.

It is indeed with much appreciation and thanks that I send you this letter acknowledging receipt a donation from you of $ 8,000 through ANERA towards the Gaza Music School project. Thanks to all you and to all our friends in the world who believe in our mission and in the work we do.

No words can express enough our appreciation and admiration of your wonderful spirit and generousity. Your support of the Gaza Music School and the cultural and educational life in Gaza Strip , has kept  hope in our hearts alive, and has encouraged us to attain further heights in bringing the joy of music and its healing power to our children and  to our people everywhere . We also hope  that your commitment and dedication will remain a source of inspiration to all those who still care and hold Palestine close to their hearts.

We at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music and the Gaza Music School are proud of the cooperation and the relation with all of you and are very happy to cooperate again on this important project that facilitates the access of Palestinian children and young people to quality music education and provides them the opportunity to develop their talents and promotes their creativity.

Achievement in the midst of difficulties and challenges  has become  a necessity of  Palestinian life; culture remains a means of survival and a major source of strength and an affirmation of identity , it is indeed with friends like you that we are able to carry on with our mission in Palestine and outside. It is a bumpy road, but we believe music can lift up the spirits of our young people, developing their talents, giving meaning and hope to young and old. As we see culture our window to the world.

Once again thank you for your contribution in helping us opening up new horizons for our children and youth and we will certainly keep you informed on developments.
