Aiman Haddad is a personal friend.  He happens to be one of the decentest persons I’ve ever met.  Brilliant, honest, modest (to a fault). He has also been my Arabic translator.  I was just informed that Aiman has tied for the top honor in the “English to Arabic” category of the prestigious Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding (2022). The award was for his translation of my book, Gaza: An Inquest into Its Martyrdom.  The organization flew him to Qatar to receive the award.  I am genuinely honored and humbled to have Aiman as my translator.
